Empowering Maternal Healthcare
Educating women in the matter of pregnancy issues, pregnancy complications, health care and raising their awareness can play a vital step in reducing maternal and child death as well as increase heath condition of both mother and child.

This project with a focus area on ‘maternal health’ tries to explore different dimensions of working in rural Assam. Considering the social, cultural and behavioural aspects as positive and challenging value, tries to bridge the gap between the ‘Women’ and ‘Health Service’ of Assam. It tries to instigate new possibilities and interesting social alternatives in the form of an information system and a personalized pregnancy device named ‘CHETNA’, a helping had to women during emergency, an advisor during overall pregnancy period and a medium to be in touch with ASHA and Doctors that can be simple and engaging and eventually aiding maternal health and society of Assam, India.
